Deployment of high density loads in IT environments can create areas of unpredictable cooling performance. APC’s Rack Air Containment is a modular system designed to work in conjunction with APC NetShelter SX enclosures and InRow cooling units to provide maximum cooling predictability, capacity, and efficiency. By attaching to the rear of the NetShelter SX, air exhausted from IT equipment is forced to pass through the cooling unit where it is conditioned. This ensures that warm exhaust air does not find its way back to the air inlets of installed servers. N+1 and 2N configurations allow for maximum availability. Front containment can also be added to provide additional isolation and noise dampening.

Integrated pressure sensors	Pressure sensors in the InRow cooling units provide fan speed control for optimum system efficiency.

Plexiglass door inserts	Provides required air containment and a consistent look across the racks while allowing visibility to installed IT equipment.
